KU.R) Five men whoee brilliant play led five different basketball teams into the first division of the big ten were named today on the annual United Press all-conference honor roll. Only one player Jewell Young of Purdue — was a unanimous choice but not one of the others could he removed without strong protest. NET TOURNEY RECEIPTS HIGH Larger Crowds At Bluffton Than In Previous Year Bluffton, Mar. 9 Attendance at the sectional tournament held In Bluffton last week-end ran quite a little more than at last year's tournament, according to the detailed report submitted Monday by L. R. Willey, tourney manager and Bluffton high schimi principal. Total receipts this year were $2,321.70 as compared with $2,134.60 last year. Season tickets sold this year were 1,171 in number with 1.095 the number a year ago. Total session tickets this year were 1.614 as compared will) 1.405 last year. Included in the expenses, which amounted to a total of $675.56 and which left a balance of $1,645.94 io be distributed among the 15 competing schools, were s3t>o for meals: $135, referees: $12.50, scorers; $12.5(1. timers; :,22.50. basketballs. It was Dro who paced the Bears in that thrilling fourth-quarter rally against Chester Center In the semi-finals after Chester held an eight-point at the end of the third period.
