Yellow Jackets Defeat New Haven, 34 to 31
JACKETS BEAT ALLEN COUNTY FIVE SATURDAY Decatur Scores 31-30 V ictory Over Bulldogs At New Haven (By Pete Reynolds) Decatur's Yellow Jackets scored their second victory of the season over New Haven Saturday night, defeating the Bulldogs in New Haven's new gymnasium, 34 to ;to. The Yellow Jackets led all the way, holding margins of 9-6 at the first quarter. 19-12 at the half, and 20 22 at the third quarter. New Haven attempted to rally in the fourth quarter but the Bulldogs were never closer than the four points with which the Jackets were returned victors. Decatur pulled away to a 6-0 lead before New Haven scored. McConnell and Brodbeck hit from underneath and McConnell added one from the side before Lake broke the ice for the Bulldogs with a free throw. Dienelt then hit his firs: two fielders but IHuret came back with his first one to put the Jackets ahead at the quarter, 9-5. The Jackets increased their lead in the second quarter, Hurst hitt-
