Mrs. Dorcas Drum read a portion of the scripture. Roll call was answered by verses on Saints. The society voted <o give five dollars to the Jted Cross flood relief fund. Mrs. King and Mrs. Pau! Daniels will have charge of the ways and means committee for next month- The meeting closed wi'h prayer. Delicious refreshments were served by Mns. King, assisted by Mrs. Wilbur Plasterer. The next meeting will be with Mrs- Harmon The members of the class of Mrs. Fred King and Mrs- Elmer Darwachter will meet in the basement of the Christian church Saturday afternoon at two-thirty o’clock for a party. LUGINBILL-FRANK WEDDING SOLEMNIZED Miss Selma Luginbill and James L. Frank, both of Blue Creek township, were married at the Methodist parsonage at Bobo late Thursday afternoon. Miss Dora Luginbill and Mrs. Leia Bailor witnessed the I ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. George W. Bailor, pastor of the Mt. Tabor charge. The newlyweds vzill reside, for the present, at the home of the bride’e parente Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Luginbill, west of the Mt- Hope i church. In the near future, they will move to a farm in Ohio, two miles west of the bride’s home. MUSICAL PROGRAM AT MITE BOX TEA The Presbyterian woman’s home and foreign missionary society will have its annual mite box opening at the church Thursday, February 4, at two-thirty o’clock- The program includes a hymn by the congregation; scripture and prayer by Mrs. W. E. Smith; hymn by congregation. Mrs- Carrie Hau bold and Miss Louise Haubold will present a musical program following which the mite boxes wi'l be collected. Each member is asked to bring a guest to this program. There will be no admission charge. During the social hour which will • follow the program the following . women will serve tea: the Mes-■ dames S- D. Beavers. Roy Andress, i Lois Black. Burt Townsend and A. M. Anker. A large attendance is desiredMRS- LEO KIRSCH ENTERTAINS CLUB Mrs. Leo Kirsch was hostess to the members of her bridge club and a number of guests Thursday evening at her home on East Rugg street. At six-thirty o'clock, a delicious two course dinner was served. After dinner tables were formed for bridge and several games of auc- ■ tion were played. Frizes were giv-j given to Mrs- Frank Rawley and Miss Fann Hammel for the club ; and Mrs. Frank Braun for the guests.
