GARRETT HIGH AGAIN MEMBER OF CONFERENCE (Jarrett Is Voted Re-Ad-mission To Northeastern Indiana Loop W. Guy Brown, Decatur high school principal, and secretary of the northeastern Indiana high school athletic conference, announced this morning that Garrett has been readmitted to conference membership. Garrett, one of the charter members of the conference, withdrew from the organization at the conclusion of the 1935 season, entering the state corner conference, composed of smaller schools. Apparently finding conditions in this loop unsatisfactory, probably because of insufficient competition, j Garrett school officials applied for j readmission to the northeastern Indiana conference. Garrett’s application was readily , accepted by a mail vote of other, conference members and the railroad town is again back in good j standing. Exactly when Garrett will re- 1 sume competition with other ■ schools of the conference is uncertain, as most of the teams have already completed schedules for next season, particularly in football. Members of the northeastern In-; diana conference now are: Deca-1 tur, Bluffton. Auburn. Columbia, City. Hartford City, Kendallville. I Garrett, and North Side. South Side and Central, all of Fort Wayne. Robert Nulf, athletic director at North Side, is president of the conference. y l4 - Last Time Tonight - The BIG Show of the Week!
