BERNE DEFEATS DECATUR TEAM FRIDAY NIGHT Yellow Jackets Are Defeated By Bear Quintet, 33 To 19 (By Pete Reynolds) Tossing in 19 points in a redhot scoring burst in the third quarter, the Berne Bears once more emerged triumphant over the Decatur Yellow Jackets. The Bears scored a 33-19 victory over the Jackets on the Decatur floor Friday night. Decatur kept the famed Bob Dro & Co. effectively bottled up except for the disastrous third quarter when the Bears tallied 19 points while the Jackets were counting only four. Decatur took a brief lead at the start of the third quarter when Heller scored from underneath. Baumgartner’s rebound shot tied the score and the Bears then turned on the heat. Winteregg scored two field goals, Dro five and C. Lehman one, with Dro adding one free throw. Decatur’s only points during the Berne spree were tw T o foul tosses by Heller on C.
