CHRISTMAS PARTY AT BERGHOFF GARDENS Twentyone members of the Delta Theta Tau sorority enjoyed the Christmas party held at the Berghoff Gardens in Fort Wayne Monday evening. At seven o’clock a delicious dinner was served. A miniature Christmas tree graced the center of the long dining table with white tapere and bouquets of narcissi and stevia on either side. After dinner, bridge was .played and prizes were won by Mrs. Al Schneider and Mrs. Howard Earnest. A gift exchange was ateo enjoyed. The committee in charge of the affair was composed of the Misses Mary Margaret Voglewede and Agnes Baker and the Meedames Charj les Holthouse and George Thoms. The Philathea class of the Baptist Sunday school will meet at the parsonage Friday evening at eixthirty o’clock to enjoy a carry-iu supper and Christmas party. A twen-ty-five cent gift exchange will be held. The roll call is to be answered with Christmas quotations. Hostesses for the meeting are Mr. Homer ' Aspy, Mrs. C. E. Peterson and Mrs. A. D. Unversaw. The presentation was unusually well given and was under, the direction of Mrs. L. A. Holti house, chairman of the section. In yesterday’s program, the name ] of Karl Krudop was omitted. Mr. Krudop portrayed the part of the I fourth wise man”, Saradan. Miss Lulu Gerber played “The Shepherd | in the Field”. All characters of the drama as well, as the solos and choruses were exceptionally well given and were well received by the audience. Preceding the entertainment a brief business meeting was held, in charge of the president, Mrs. W. ! Guy Brown. After the report of the I i secretary.
