The meeting opened with prayer. P’ans were made to have a capsule friend. The league is planning to present the play “Lovely Mary" seme time the first of February. The Star class of the Christian Sunday school will meet at the home of Mrs. Dorphus Drum Friday evening at seven o'clock. Every | member is requested to attend. Work on the construction of the Berne postoffice will not start until next spring, according to word received there. An additional appropriation must be made to finance the project. Decatur stores are planning to stay open in the evening beginning next week, up to Christmas eve. A number of friends and relatives attended funeral services for Thomae Ehinger at St. Mary’s Catholic church this morning. Mrs. Al D.
