(Special to the Democrat I Muncie. Ind.. Nov. 13.- Marion Feasel of Decatnr. varsity end on the Ball State Teachers college football team for the past two seasons, will wind up his collegiate gridiron career next Saturday afternoon when the Cardinals meet Hanover here. The contest, which closes Ball State's 1936 football season, will be a rub game between the two schools, each team having won some though to trying out the nocturnal novelty but are not yet ready to make the leap. The American league yesterday approved sale of the Browns to a syndicate formed by Barnes, a super-salesman who ran $2,500 into a fortune after the World war. The purchase price. 1325.000. includes the Browns' players and Franchise and SO per cent of the stock in the San Antonio Texas league club. The Phil Dec. Bal! estate, which has operated the Browns since the death of Ball, will retain Sportsman's park. Vnder the reorganization of the Browns Barnes will be president and William C. DeWitt, who has been connected with ne St. Louis Cardinals for 19 years, will be vice-president and general manager. The Browns will be capitalized for 1500,000, with $175,000 used to rebuild the club. Rogers Hornsby will be retained as manager, but it is said, his contract, which calls tor $lB,000 per son with a cut of the profits from gate receipts, will be reSUN. MON.
