CONGRATULATIONS"
Next week, August 2 to 8, marks one solid century of growth and genuine progress for Decatur, and starts it on its second, and even more progressive hundred years in American history. A great many years ago, not a whole century, but in 1915 to be exact, the Ashbaucher Tin Shop became a part of this community, and we think and hope that we have deserved our small olace among you. And as a new era lies before us, we hope to mark that part even greater. We are especially grateful to those who in 1915 became our customers and are still listed as our patrons and friends. To them and to all the citizens of Decatur and community, we extend our heartiest congratulations — as one pioneer to another — and extend best wishes for continuance of the fine spirit which has prompted the celebration of the ACHIEVEMENTS OF A CENTURY. » We extend a most cordial invitation to all our friends patrons and their guests to call on us while attending the Centennial Celebration and to remember Ashbauqher’s Tin Shop when it comes to anything for home- improvement - furnaces, stokers, roofing, siding, shingles and the like. You'll find that we are in an excellent position to take care of your needs promptly, and at prices that can’t be duplicated.
