DRESSINGS FOR SPRING SALAD To nlve piquancy and tangy flavor to your Hpringtinm salads try aome of time flavorsome dreasillgH. Uncooked Mayonnalie 1 egg 1 teaspoon eac'i -tard, salt and sugar 2 tablespoons lemon Juice or vinegar dash of pepper 1 pint salad oil Mix the egg, the lemon juice or vinegar and the seasoning in a deep howl. Then whip it well, a little at a time the pint of salad oil. ) Graham Gems I'4 cups sifted graham flour j i/ 2 cup sifted white flour 4 teaspoons phosphate or tar-1 trate baking powder or 2 teaspoons combination bak-j ing powder, 1 teaspoon salt 1,4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs, well beaten 1 cup milk • z 4 cup melted shortening Mix and sift dry ingredients. Combine eggs, milk and shortening and add to dry ingredients. Mix vigorously 20 to 25 seconds to dampen all ingredients, but do not beat until smooth. Spoon into hot greased muffin tins and bake 20-1 25 minutes in hot over (425 degrees Fahrenheit). Tomatoes Baked With Sausage Cut firm ripe tomatoes in halves crosswise.
