i her of these carded games will I remain unplayed a.t the end of the season. 000 The Yellow Jackets and Commodores each had one game postponed last week but are scheduled to make these contests up this week. 000 The Yellow Jackets will open the week'c card Tuesday night, meeting the Hartford City Airi dales in a game postponed from last Tuesday. The game will be played at Taylor university gym at Upland. where the Airdales are playing all home games this season, with their own gymnasium closed through forfeiture of payments to bondholders. 000 Hartford City has been going fairly well this year, although somewhat inconsistent. The Airdales trounced Muncie and gave the Berne Bears a real battle before losing by a narrow margin. Last year the Yellow Jackets scored a 28-25 victory over Hartford and are out to repeat tomorrow night. 000 The Commodores have three games scheduled in four days. They will open the grind Thursday night, meeting Catholic Central of Lima, Ohio, on the local floor. Lima is the only team, besides the Commodores, to defeat St. John's of Delphos a.nd should give the Commodores all they want to handle. Lima has won 10 of 13 games. 000 The Yellow Jackets will entertain the Garrett Railroaders on the local floor Friday night. While Garrett is no longer a member of the northeastern Indiana conference, the Railroaders have developed their best team in several seasons. Whether the ailing members of the Yellow Jacket squad will get back into condition for this week’s contests is still a question. 000 The Commodores will also be in action Friday, traveling to Delphos, Ohio, to meet the St- John's quintet. This game was originally scheduled for last Friday but was postponed because of severe weather conditions. 000 Playing the third game in four days, the Commodores will journey into Ohio again Sunday, meeting Celina Catholic. A strenuous schedule for one week end, but may put the Commies in top shape for the state Catholic tourney, February 29 and March 1. 000 Scorea of one year ago: Yellow Jackets 36, Garrett 19 Winchester 38, Yellow Jackets 32
