The questionnaire will coveri regular season schedules, number ■ and type of conference and invita- j tional tourneys and the state; championship tournament. Semi final tournaments at four I centers. Gary, Muncie. Several games have been postponed and others are likely to I be. —oOo — Both the Yellow Jackets and Commodores are scheduled to see action tonight. The Yellow Jackets will entertain Stretch Murphy and his Win- / Chester quintet at the local gym tonight in the only game for the Jackets this week. —oOo — The Commodores are scheduled to play St. John’s at Delphos, Ohio, but as this was written, postponement of the tilt was thought likeI ly. With icy pavements makingj driving extremely hazardous, postponement of the contest was high-' ily likely. —oOo — The Commodores had little dis-i i Acuity chalking up a decisive victory over the Kirkland Kangaroos • j Thursday night, 48 to 27. It was I | the second victory of the season for the Commies from Kirkiand and was doubly sweet, as Kirkland | lias been one of the Commodores' i pet jinxes in previous seasons. The Yellow Jackets will he pretty badly crippled for tonight’s ■ tilt. Peterson, veteran forward., has lieen out of the last two games i I and while he returned to school , II Thursday, will not be in a suit to-, ' night. Myers and Smith, other . members of the first squad, are > suffering heavy colds and may not : even appear in a suit tonight. —oOo — Just- a • Bear" story. Reports from the lair of the Bluffton Tigers early this week carried a scar.e story that Mick Ludwig, regular Tiger forward, would be unable to 1 play against the Berne Bears because of a severely sprained ankle Must have been pretty badly hurt, as he was able to ' play “only" three-fourths of the contest. With Dro out of the entire game, the Bears gave Bluffton a real battle last night before losing, 23 to 20 before a crowd which taxed the capacity of the Bluffton community building. Looks like Adams county will have to look to tho sectional tourney for revenge from the Wells county quintets, which have enjoy-1 ed a big season at the expense of: the Adams county fives. —oOo— I From this angle, it appears as though teams in this county made I a serious mistake by not schedulI ing the Ossian Bears this season.
