MISS THELMA COOK SURPRISED ON BIRTHDAY The members of the F. de L. Club pleasantly surprised Miss Thelma Cook at her home Monday evening, the occasion being her birthday anniversary. At eix o’clock a delicious pot-luck dinner was served after which a social time was enjoyed. The honored guest was the recipient of a number of birthday gifts. Those present were the Misses Mary Ann Lose, Rosemary Omlor, Lucille and Margaret Miller, Mary Wertzberger and Mary Miller, Mrs. Arthur Kurber and Miss Cook. All officers of the Eastern Star chapter are asked to meet at the Masonic hall Wednesday night at seven-thirty o’clock. The Junior class of the Christian Sunday school will hold a Hallowi een party at the home of the teachI er, Mrs. Fred Collier Wednesday ; night at seven o’clock.
