Montpelier. was in serious condition ut the Blackford county hospital today after escaping death twice. Bennett either leaped or fell from the aecond story of a building here where a fraternity dance was being held, ami his injuries were aggravated when the truck used to take him to the hospital was wrecked early yesterday. Bennett was knocked unconscious In the fall from the building. He regained consciousness enroute to tho hospital and grabbed the steering wheel of the truck, swerving It to the side of the road. In doing so. Bennett was thrown to the pavement.
