FORMER LOCAL GIRL MARRIED SUNDAY MORNING The -marriage ot Miss Margaret Jane Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W-sley E. Hoffman. 1409 Kensington boulevard, Fort Wayne, former residents of Decatur, and Clifton Edward McCormick, son of Mr. and Mrs. William T. McCormick SCB East Pontiac street. Fort Wayne was solemnized in a simple ceremony at ten o'clock Saturday morning at the rectory of St. Patrick's Catholic church. The Rev. D. Lawrence Monahan officiated, fdiss Betty Hoffman at- ( tended lher sister and Harold Me- j Cormick served ills brother as beet man. The immediate members of .the family were present as the vows were received. The bride wore a street-length jacket frock of Manoa brown double ehiffon. The ,short sleeves plaited at the shoulders, and the high neckline was trimmed with a double collar and jabot of white and yellow mousseline de soie. The skirt fell in silhouette effect with an inverted box plait in the center and a kick plait at eitUier side. The natural waistline was marked with a belt of the -material which fastened with a rhinestone clas-p. The jacket was fashioned with long full sleeves trimmed with mousseline de coie icuffe forming .points. Her brown felt hat had an irregular brim and she wore brown kid slippers and gloves. Gardenias formed her shoulder corsage. The maid of honor wore a smart frock of poudre iblue sheer with dark brows «ai ■e<s»w>ries. The skirt was made witft stitched plaits and the swagger jacket was finger-tip length. Her shoulder corsage was formed of Johanna Hill roses and blue delphiniivms. ,A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, with covens for thirty six. The bride's table was centered with.an arrangement of yellow roses and white gladiolus and tall yellow tapers. A tiered wedding cake decorated in yellow rosebuds centered the buffet. Among the out of -town guests who attended the wedding were Rev. William C. Poepperling of St. Louis, Mo; Mr. and Mrs. Earl B. Adims and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Runyon of Decatur; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Heller of IBerne, and Dr. and Mrs. E. J. Dykeman of Richmond. The newly married couple left on a motor trip to New York and other eastern points. For traveling Mrs. MuCormick dhose a frock of •marine blue rough cre.pe trimmed in white. The high neckline was marked with a small white round collar trimmed with a -bow of £lue. The white extended down the front of the bodice in narrow piping, growing wider near the waisteline and continuing down the front ot the dress, growing measurably wider near the hemline. The three quarter length sleeves were full stitdhed tightly at the cuff. The slightly flared skirt was trimmed with peg top ipoekets. An unusually short jacket was worn over the drees. Her hat was of matching blue material trimmed in white. She ] wore blue slippers and gloves and carried a blue puree. Her swagger i-oat was of soft imported blue wool made with raglan sleeves.
