The community we know is thankful to this years board for their excellent work. That Mobley boy down in Monroe county, who during the P»t few weeks have given his community a reign of terror, setting fire to his fathers house twice, burning the barn and otherwise causing a lot of damage in the neighborhood has been given a one-to-ten-yeaj-suspended prison sentence. He has been paroled to his father and since he is only twelve years old. his dad will have nine years to bring him out of his crazy ideM. Perhaps a good fat hair brush might do as much good as any thing else. Its fine for boys to have fun but they are getting a bad start when they try to kid themselves into believing that to enjoy themselves it is necessary to destroy propel ty or to commit crimes with a thrill. During the past few weeks there have been a number of complaints of destruction of properly and in several cases it has been necessary to place guards. That's serious and one of these days these lads are going to get into court where they will receive punishment such as a suspended sentence and that's worse than they may think. Don't indulge in the breaking of windows, the smashing of benches, destruction of flowers and gardens and if companions do it, report them.
