Attention Movie Fans! How would you like to get a month's free admission to the cool, air-conditioned Adams theater during the hot summer weather? You can do it—it's easy, and lots of fun, too! Besides the grand prize of a month's pass, there are other attractive prizes. Here's what you do. READ EVERY AD ON THIS PAGE CAREFULLY. In each ad you will find a photograph of a movie star. Cut out each photograph and paste them all on a sheet of paper. Then identify each star—that is, write his or her name alongside or below each photograph. Then on a separate piece of paper write us a short letter of not more than 25 words on the subject: “Why I like to attend the Atlanta theater.” Be sure your name and address is on both sheets of paper. Now mail or bring them both—the identified stars and the letter—-to the Contest Editor of the Daily Democrat on or before June 24, the closing day of the contest. Easy, isn't it? All the movie stars are your favorites —those that you see at the Adams every week, and it shouldn't be hard to tell why you like to attend the Adams. The best entry, in the opinion of the judges, will receive 12 passes, enough to attend three shows a week for a whole month. Or they can be used any time you prefer. Second prize will be 6 passes. Third prize will be three passes. There will be five prizes of one pass each. Remember! Neatness and originality counts. The Adams theater is celebrating the complete installation of their mammoth new cooling plant — the KoolerAire system which is being used by 6000 of the nation’s leading theaters. The Kooler-Aire plant at the Adams is capable of delivery of 35,000 cubic feet of air per minute, insuring a complete change of air in the theater every two minutes. A high- pressure air-washer not only cools the air to a healthful, comfortable temperature but cleanses it of all dirt and odors. Accurate deflectors inside the auditorium insure the even distribution of air to every part of the theater, so that ad sec tions are cooled alike. Even when the outside temperature is in the high 90's, it will be around 72 degrees in the Adams. Ventilation engineers from the U. S. Air Conditioning Corp, supervised the installation of the plant. Tde Adams theater will keep you cool and comfortable this summer—-and so will the products advertised by local merchants on this page. Cool clothes, foods, drinks, refrigerators and other articles will aid in making Decatur a delightful place in which to live. READ THE ADS —THEY NOT ONLY OFFER AN OPPORTUNITY TO WIN VALUABLE PRIZES. BUT THEY PRESENT SEASONABLE MERCHANDISE AT ATTRACTIVE PRICES. Begin right now! Identify the movie stars, write your letter and mail them both to this office as soon as possible. A committee of impartial judges will decide the winners. It's easy, it's fun, and there’s a reward for your efforts. Get busy, and remember the last day for your entry is June 24.
