DECATUR EASTERN CTARS ATTEND OHIO INSPECTION Inspection of Hyler chapter number forty .hundred thirty two of the Eastern Stars, at Ohio City, Ohio, was held Monday night at Ohio City. A number of members of the local chapter attended the program. A tianquet was followed with the inspection which was conducted by the worthy grand matron of Ohio, Mrs. Minnie E. Lathrop. The deputy grand matron, Mary L. Wise of Ohio City, was present at the meeting. Thirty six members of the Ohio chapter and -enp hundred fourteen guests attended. Those from Decatur were tlve Mesdames Miles Roop, George Squier, Nathan Nelson, Charles Burdg, Delton Passwater, R. A. Stuckey, Djn Tyndall and Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Bowen. PROGRAM ANNOUNCED FOR TEMPERANCE MEETING The Women’s Christian Temperance Union will meet in the MethoHLst church Wednesday afternoon at itwo fifteen o’clock. The annual flower mission day will be observed at this meeting and she bouquets of towers will be distributed to the sick and shift ins. The meeting will open with devotions by Mrs.'S. D. Miss Miriam Small head of the domestic science department of the Berne high school for the past six years, was married to Dale H. Braun of Berne Sunday afternoon at four o’clock at the home of the ibride's parents, Mr. and Mis. Walter Small, at Selma. Rev. M. Hall, pastor of the Selma Metlhodist church, performed the impressive single ring ceremony. The bride wore a frock of white crepe trimmed with fagoting. She i carried a bouquet of white rosebuds. After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Braun will go to Bloomington where Mr. Braun will attend Indiana university this summer. They will make their home in Alexandria in September. Neuenschwander-Stahly Miss Mildred Ne-uenschwinder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Neuensohwander and Paul Stahly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stably of south of Berne were married at the Cross Reformed church Sunday afternoon at three o’clock. Dr. Daniel Burghalter of Tiffin, Ohio, uncle of the groom, performed the double ring ceremony before a large number of relatives and friends. The bride wore a gown -of mouseline de sole in white with accessories to match. A race cap with a tulle veil was held in iplace with orange blossoms. She wore mits of wlhite net and laoo and carried a shower bouquet of Killarney roses and sweet peas.
