JEFFERSON CLUB MEETS RECENTLY The regular meeting of the Jefferson township Home Economics club was held Thursday. The club sang w.is sung, the creed repeated, the roll call, business meeting and report of committees, after which Miss Amstutz guve an interesting report of the trip to Purdue University, attending the Agricultural conference. Mrs. Eloise Butaher was choeen to accompany the leaders to the next leader’s meeting. Following the meeting refreshment* of sandwhiches, cookies and candy were served. DECATUR COUPLE MARRIED SATURDAY Miss Marion Margolies and Randolph Brondyberry of this city were united in marriage, Saturday afternoon, February 16, at Fort Wayne. Miss Helen Death and Bernard Hain were the attendants. The bride wore light blue with navy blue accessories, and Miss Death wore black and white. Mrs. Brandyberry is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Buntman of Route 3, Deortur. She is a graduate of Central ihigh school at Fort Wayne. Mr. Brandyberry is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brandyberry. He Is employed by the Mutschler Packing company. Feb. 19.—<U.R) 1 —Burglars who broke into the; Collins Auto Company and the | George Krudop Coal Company here | early Sunday morning left empty-1 handed when the safes refused to yield to the cracksmen’s efforts. The combination had been knocked off both the companies' safes but further efforts to open them were to no avail. At the motor company, the burglars also attempted to break through the bulletproof glass of an armored car which is used to carry bank deposits.
