NOVELTY TEAM TO PLAY HERE ON WEDNESDAY Cloverleaf Creameries Team To Play Mexico Masked Marvels The Cloverleaf Creameries basketball team will play its secend game of the season Wednesday night at the Yellow Jacket gym. An unusual attraction has been booked by Stanley Callow, managee of the local five. The world famous Mexico Masked Marvels, one of the greatest traveling novelty attractions in basketball, will furnish the opposition. Members of this team have bee t selected from various colleges and universities all over the conntrv, among them all-Americans, and other all-star players. HUSBAND BEATS WIFETODEATH Young Woman Dies After Being Beaten With Auto Tools Shelbyville. Ind., Dec. 3. —(U.R> — Beaten over the head with an automobile crank and jack, Mrs- Dorothy Russell. 22, Pleasant View, died in Major Memorial hospital here today. Her husband, Morris, 22. surrendered to police and admitted h& struck her during an argument in which he accused her of having an affair witth another man. Coroner Thomas Cartmell said Russell probably would be charged witht second degree murder. The attack occurred late yesterday after Russell and his wife had driven to a lonely spot on a country road 15 miles northwest of here to thresh out marital difficulties, authorities were told. Police said Russell admitted )>ecoming angry and striking hjs wife with Bitend degree murder. He obtained a ride to Shelbyville with Roy Fansler, a passerby, and surrendered to police immediately. Authorities found Mrs Russell under directions of the husband. She died shortly after being brought to the hospital.
