A short business session was held after which six games of pinochle were played and I prizes won by Mrs. Ralph Roop and Mrs. Bob August for high scores and Mrs. Charles Keller for consolation. WALTHER LEAGUE ELECTS NEW OFFICERS Harry Heuer was named president of the Walther League of the local Zion Lutheran church at a business meeting held in the school Wednesday night. Other officers named were Robert Zwick. vi-ce-president; Mildred Werling, secretary and terasurer; Edna Hole, Frieda Schearer and Florence Sauer, entertainment committee; Mrs. Paul Schultz and Richard Mailand, sick committee; Harold Sauer and Eldred Fronapfel, membership committee; and Rev Paul Schultz, educational director. Palmer relented and allowed Tarascio, accused of speeding, his liberty on payment of a $5 fine.
