BUSINESS MEETING OF MISSIONARY SOCIETY A business meeting of the Women’s Missionary Society of the Zion Lutheran church was held at the Paul Busse home Wednesday I afternoon. During the meeting a contest was planned and the group wan I dividefl into seven sections to lake part in the event. This was the final study meeting of the club for the present , I year. The meeting was opened with the , collect and current events. During the current events, the secretary i told each member the number of I times she had been present during] the year. Mrs. D. D -Heller, the oldest member of the organization I had been absent but two times during the entiie year. Various reports were given and Mrs. Bess Erwin, the leader for the afternoon, read a paper on “Art and ' Music of Sweden” which was interesting and complete. The study books for the coming year were distributed Plans were made for the formal closing of the Club which will be in the form of a banquet Tuesday night at six-thirty o’clock at the Preslbyterian Church Mrs. Smeisley of the Fort Wayne Central schools will address the meeting and special music will be furnished. —o — Charred Body Os Woman Is Found Indianapdlis. Apr. 12 — <U.R) — The charred body of Mrs. Margaret Sloan. 31. w-as found in her burning home today. Beneath the body was a revolver from which one shot had been fired. Neighbors said the woman had been despondent and expressed the belief that she set her house on fire and then shot herself, expecting to be consumed by the flames.
