Oct. 27—(UP) State prison authorities announced today that Grady Brooks, 19-year-old negro, confessed as he went to the electric chair that he had killed 19 persons during his short life. Brooks was electrocuted today for the slaying of Lee Lindsay, convict guard, in an attempted escape from a convict camp last summer.
