OBITUARY Marcus Newton Lenhart was' born on October 22. 1862, in Adlams county, Indiana, near Decatur I land lived most of his life in De catur and vicinity. Thirteen years ago he w’ent lo Jackson, Michigan,! where he resided until his death, i July 15. 1933. at the age of 70 i i years, 8 months and 18 days. He was the son of Lawson and Lois Lenhart, who are deceased, j One brother, John H. Lenhart, and three sisters, Julia Ann, Sarah, Jane, and Mary Ellen (Baxter I ! preceded him in death. Surviving are two brothers, Lawson C. of Decatur. Indiana, and Sanford P.. of Neosha. Mo., and two sisters. Mrs. Arta E. Breiner of Craigville, Indiana, and Mrs. Samantha Brown of Bedford, Indiana, also a large number of devoted nieces and nephews, including Lineas L. Lenharat, with whom Mr. Lenhart made his home in Jackson. Michigan. Mr. Lenhart never married. In the communities in which Mr. Lenhart lived In Adams county, he belonged at various times to St. Paul Christian Union church, to Union Chapel United Brethren church. In Jackson he attended I the M. E. church. Funeral services were held at I the Bailey funeral home in Jackson.
