A. C.’S BATTLE STRONG OUTFIT HERE TONIGHT Foit Wayne Chiefs Will Battle Local Teain At D. H. S. Gym The Decatur C.’s will present their regular lineup tonight when they meet the strong Fort Wayne Chiefs at the Decatur high school gymnasium. This is without doubt the outstanding battle of the season ! for the local independent team. The Chiefs have one of the 1 stro gest semi-pro teams in the | county. The Fort Wayne team is a member of the Xulioliai Fioiessi-.m- | al league this season. C. seconds I meeting the Commodore alumni ! team. Admission prices for tonight’s i game will be 10 and 20 cents. o • JU. F Good basketball is asured the I fans who attend the Decatur A. C. i and Fort Wayne Chiefs battle to-: night at the D.H.S. gym. The Chiefs have been going good against some of the strong industrial teams of the country while the A. C.’s have scored victories over some of the strongest semi-pro teams in this section of the country. The preliminary game tonight will be worth getting to the gym eirly. The A. C. seconds will play tie Commodore alumni. This game is expected to get underway at 7:30 ' p. in. Basketball fans in Decatur will have their last chances to see the Imai high school teams in action at home within the next ten days. The Commodores meet the Ossian Bears from Wells county at the Catholic gym Friday night and Monday night, Central Catholic of Fort Wayne will meet the Commodores on the local floor Monday night. Goodwin of Minnesota fell or jumped to his death today from a fifth-floor window of his hotel here. Goodwin's body was found by an employe of the hotel shortly before , | S a. m.
