Decatur Daily Democrat, Volume 31, Number 25, Decatur, Adams County, 30 January 1933 — Page 5

A word from Several of our Daily Readers West Concord, Minn, Jan. 7, 1933 The Daily Democrat, Decatur, Indiana. Gentlemen: Enclosed please find check to cover renewal of subscription to the Democrat, as per your statement. What with salary cuts etc., we thought we might he fnreeai to foreao the pleasure of this daily friend, who has followed us south, west, up into Canada, and back to the central northwest, but tile family ccnfererce decided, that we will forego some other pleasure, and so we are all set to enjoy the news from home for another year. Its hard to wean away from the Home Town Paper after being a continuous subscribed for twenty-odd years. With best wishes for this new year, Sincerely Yours, REV. JASON HOFFMAN. o:o Monroe, Indiana January 14, 1933 To the Daily Democrat: As my subscription expires the 21st of this month you will please find enclosed money instead of check for one year as I have been a reader for several years, beginning with the Decatur Eagle weekly. I am a very staunch Democrat and the Daily Democrat makes me stronger. I am 76 years old and love to read the county affairs, both good and bad—hoping the future brings us mo-e higher prices as I am a farmer and to make a living is very discouraging to give away what little we raise. No profit at all. Yours very truly, MRS. MARY A. HENDRICKS. Monroe, Indiana, R. 1. o:o Muncie, Indiana January 14, 1933 Decatur Daily Democrat, Decatur, Ind. Dear Sir: Enclosed find my check covering one years subscription to the Democrat. I learned my Democracy through the Democrat and voted the first time fifty-two years ago, and I am still wanting the paper. Respectfully, J. FRANK MANN. o:o Fort Wayne, Ind. January 12, 1933 Dear Sfr: Enclosed find money order for the renewal of the paper. I have been sick with flu and I could not come up, so I have decided to send it. I have been taking the paper for four years and my folks always had taken the paper so I sure would hate to do without the home news. Well enclosed find money order. Yours truly, MRS. HUBERT FUELLING.
