Wicks, Thursday afternoon for the regular meeting < f the organization. Mr. Charles K. Champlin was the deotional leader and she read from the subject book. Sept. 16 —(UP) Secretary of Agriculture Arthur M. Hyde was the principal speaker today at Dedication ct a Lincoln Memorijl statue. He w-as to be introduced by Senator James E. Watson. The Bronze statue, erected by the Lincoln National Life Foundation depicts Abraham Lincoln as a Hoosier youth at the age of 21.
