The Women of the Moose will meet in the Moose Home. Thursday evening at seven-thirty o’clock. Following the regular meeting a program will be held, observing Flag Day, and a bunco party will be held. PHI DELTS PLAN FUTURE ACTIVITIES At a meeting of the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity, held Monday I evening the following were pledged Ronald Parrish, Bob Kleinhenz, Jim ’ Fisfier, Jesse Sutton, Jr., Harold I Strickler and Carl Lose. Plans were completed for the anniversary stag banquet to be held at Sun Set ‘park, next Monday night at six-thirty o’clock. Arrangements are being made to entertain about fifty out-of-town Phi Delts frcl.m Garrett, Fort Wayne. Huntington, Portland, Van Wert, and Celina. A buffet luncheon will be served. Arrangements were also made for , the (Anniversary Dance to be held at Sun Set Dance pavilion, Thursday, June 30. The dance will be dpen to the public and will he held especially for Phi Delts returning from coli lege. Several special dances are being planned to honor a number of other fraternities and sororities.. A i gcod orchestra will be secured for ' the dancing. Miller, Dan Weidler, Dallas Goldner. and Mary KeSler were leaders for the program of the Women's Missionary Society of the Zion Reformed Church, Tuesday afternoon. The meeting was held in the church parlors. Mrs. Miller had charge of the program, which was opened with the song. “Open My Eyes That I I May See.” and the devotionals were I led by M s. Fred Heuer. STATE TAKES ROAD MILEAGE About 93 Miles Consumed By Highway Department Into Program Indianapolis, June B.—(U.R>—Approximately 93 mi’es of county toads were absorbed Into the state highway aystetn today for maintenance, it was announced by John J. Brown, director. It brings to 1,200 the number of miles taken 1 into the state system since last March. The new roads are: Road I - Northeast of Fort Wayne through Butler to road 20, approx-, imately 36 miles In Allen and De-1 Kalb counties. Road 3 From the junction of ’ road 5 in Blackford county north to Markle. 14 miles In Blackford mid Huntington counties.
