Little. During tfie social hour which followed, dainty refreshments in, keeping with Washington's birth day, were served by Mrs. B. A.' Franklin, Mrs. R. A. Stuckey, and Mrs. Walters. W. O. T. M. OBSERVES TENTH BIRTHDAY The Women of the Moose observed the tenth anniversary of the lodge in this city with a Washing ton birthday party at the Moose Home, Thursday evening. During the lodge meeting Mra. Will Noll read a paper entitled, "Moose Order and Davis Inseparable.” Decorations in keeping with George Washington appointments were arranged about the lodge hall, and two lakes, one with ten candles honoring the fourteen charter members, and the other decorated with cherries and a hatchet was in honor of George Washington The program was opened by singing "America,” after which all charter members present gave short talks. Mrs. William iTuffinan. Mrs. Archie Übng, and Mrs. Irvin Schafer gave histories of the life of George Washington, and the group sang "Star Spangled Banner.” Small tables were then arranged for playing bunco and after ten games were enjoyed prizes were awarded to Mrs. Cecil Gauze and Mrs. Bert Haley. A luncheon was served at the close of the evening by the hostesses, the Mesdames Irvin Schafer and Arthur Miller. The charter members who were present at the meeting gave a few remarks and later a contest was ehjoyed in which Mrs. Linn received the prize. A luncheon in one course fn which the patriotic colors were carried out, was served by the hostesses. The guests present at the meeting were Mary Jane King and Mrs. Dick Burdg of Decatur, and the Mesdames (J. Burgner, Roy Gaunt, Fred Bandtel, Leslie Baumgartner and Herman Baumgartner all Os Fort Wayne. ENTERTAINS FOR DINNER BRIDGE CLUS Mrs Paul Saurer was hostess to the Dinner and Bridge Club at her home on North Second street, Thusday night.
