REUNION HELD AT SUN SET PARK The seventeenth annual reunion of the Schnepp and Manley families was held Sunday. September 6 at Sun Set I’ark east of Decatur, with one hundred twenty five members of the family in attendance. At the noon hour a pot-luck dinner was served, after which the business session was held. Four deaths were reported to have taken place during the year. Bryan Schnepp of Riverdale, Michigan, will act as president during the year; John Bouts, vice-president, and Mrs. Blanche Bouts of Michigan secretary and treasurer. It was decided to hold the next reunion in Lansing, Michigan, the Sunday before Labor Day, 1932. The remainder of the afternoon was spent in playing baseball games, and in a social manner. ENTERTAIN DINNER GUESTS Mr. and Mis. Eugene Runyon entertained at dinner Sunday evening, . and covers were arranged for Mr. and Mrs. William C. Briggs and son Bob of Gary; Mr. and Mrs. O. COUPLE CELEBRATES WEDDING ANNIVERSARY The fifty-fifth year of happy Wedded life was celebrated Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beintz of five miles east of this city. At the noon hour a basket dinner was served to seventy five relatives and friends of the couple. A three tier cake formed the centerpiece of the large table. Edward Elliott was elected president to precede Milton Edgell. Susie Buckmaster .vice-president, will succeed Edward Elliott, and Alfred Elliott will act as secretary and treasurer, in the place of the former otficer, Asa Danford. Various committees were chosen for the reunion next year, and Ed. BUCKMASTER REUNION HELD AT FORT WAYNE The annual reunion ot the Buckmaster family was held at Lakeside Park in Fort Wayne, Sunday, with fifty relatives present. Following the picnic dinner served at noon Dr. Atwood Buckmaster ot Gettysburg, Pa., gave the principal afternoon address. The election ot office-s was held and Dr. Buckmaster was re-elected president, Warren Buckmaster of Fort Wayne was chosen vice-pre-sident; Mrs. Mabelle Myers of this city secretary, and Vernon Buckmaster of (xapoleon, Ohio, treasurer. The reunion next year will he held at the City Park at Lima, Ohio the Sunday preceding Labor Day. Mr. and Mrs. George Myers and family of this city atten led the reunion. JUNIOR BOYS ENJOY OUTING Mrs. B. R. Farr, teacher of the Junior Boys Class of the Methodist Episcopal Sunday School accompanied the members ot her class to the Decatur Heights cottage at I Lake Webster where the boys en-. joyed a week-end outing.
