Indiana, September 16, 1873 and departed this life May 7, 1931. age 57 years, 7 months and 15 days. Mr. and Mrs. James A. Fergerson took him when a little boy 5 years of age and reared him to young, manhood. On September 30, 1896. he was united in marriage to Mary E. Hunt. To this union were born two children. During the pastorate of Rev. Frank Miller he was converted and joined the Union U. B.' church, about 33 years ago. Always lived a faithful Christian life, serving as teacher of the men's Sunday School class for some 15 years, also filling other important offices in the church, and for many years has been a faithful member of the K. of P. lodge serving all the offices of that order.
