The private New Year's Eve Dance ot the Delta Theta Tau and I'si lota Xi sororities and the Phi Delta Kappa fraternity, will take place in the Decatur Country Club where elaborate decorations will mark the New Year event. Dancing will begin at nine o’clock, and the music will be furnished by the Paul Weaver orchestra from Fort Wayne. The committee in charge of the affair includes the Misses Helen Holthouse, Jeanette Clark. Kathryn Hyland and Mrs. Ed. A. Bosse of the Delta Theta Tau sorority; the Misses Charlotte Elzey, Betty Macklin Do: a Shosenberg. and Mrs. Charles Hite, of the Psi iota Xi sorority; and the Messrs. Glen Beavers, John Burnett, Otto Weis, and Tom Haubold of the Phi Delta Kappas.

ENTERTAINS WITH YULETIDE PARTY Miss Helen Eady delightfully entertained a number of her friends with a Christmas party at her home, corner Madison and Seventh streets, Tuesday evening. The Eady home was beautifully decorated with green and red favors, and a miniature scene was formed by a large lighted Christmas tree under which a number of small toy houses and churches wire lighted and arranged on cotton and artificial snow. The guests arrived at the affair dressed to represent Christmas toys, and during the evening several contests and bunco were enjoyed. Prizes for high score were awarded to Mis es Bertha Baughman and Evangeline Spahr. The girls then sang a number of Christmas carols. The small tables were laid with linens and centered with Christmas tapers which burned during the serving of a one course luncheon. Candy gum drop candle holders with tiny candles in red and green formed the place cards, and a luncheon of green and white ice cream, white cake, and red and white striped candy was served. Guests included the Mesdames lack Leigh. C. L. Walters, Weiland, Sylvester Everhart, Enoch Eady, and the Misses Evangeline Spahr, of Barnesville, Ohio; Bertha Baughman, Doris and Bernice Nelson, Helen and Catherine Eady, and Mrs. Burdette Custer of Ypsilanti, Michigan.

CHRISTMAS PARTY OF AMICITIA CLUB The members of the Amicitia Club enjoyed a Christmas party and exchange of Christmas gifts at the home of Mrs. Russell Melchi on Nuttman avenue. Christmas decorations were used about the entertaming rooms, and a large lighted and decorated Christmas tree adorned the parlor. During the evening, Santa Claus arrived at the party, and exchanged the gifts among the members. Small tables were then arranged for bridge, and at the conclusion of the games, Mrs. Francis Eady and Mrs. Kenneth Eady received the prizes for high scores. The club members decided to entertain their husbands with a New Year's Eve party at the home of Mrs. Scl Lord on next tyednesday evening. which were marked with Christmas place cards attached to candy favors. Miniature Santa Clauses and tiny reindeer also decorated the large table. Candle holders, tall red Christmas tapers, and miniature Christmas trees centered the two small tables which were also arranged in the dining room. A delicious two course luncheon of Christmas appointments was served by candlelight. Preceding the luncheon, the guests enjoyed the exchange of Christmas gifts, and a local firm also presented the nurses with beautiful gifts. Four small tables wore then arranged for games of Christmas tree, and tallies of the Yuletide designs were presented the guests. Miss Gertrude Nickels received the first prize ami Miss Montex Emery the consolation prize. Christmas candies were served during the games. Those present at the pretty affair included the Misses Crystal Tricker, Lucille Martin, Gertrude Nickels, Montez Emery, Margaret Daniels, Leona Wulliman, Olive Walters, and Lucy Little, the Mes dames Harold DeVor, Charles Holthouse. Central Pupils Enjoy Annual Holiday Treat *The pupils of the Central School building enjoyed a special chapel program and treat Tuesday morning, at the regular chapel period. The pupils of each room on the first floor of the building had u program of their own, and the seventh and eighth grades united in the program In the large auditorium, where the SA class, taught by j Miss Grace Coffee, had charge A real radio broadcasting outfi’ had been arranged by Marcellus Miller in a room of the building where the program was broadcasted to the large auditorium. The boys of the KA class also assisted in the arranging of the broadcasting device. The program which was of a Christmas nature, was greatly appreciated by the pupils.
