I POT LUCK DINNER CELEBRATES ANNIVERSTRY Members of the Rebekah and Odd Fellow lodges attended the celelnaHou of the eightieth anniversary of Rebekah-Odd Fellowship a’ the I. 0. O. F. Hall last evening. The district president, Mrs. Bessie Howe of Geneva was an honored guest and gave an introductory talk for tlm rood and welfare of the orler. Following her remarks a petluck dinner was served in the dining hall where small tables were laid with dainty white linens and centeied witli bud vases filled with vari-colored flowers, with the lodge olors of pink and gteen predominating Decorations of the dining hall were of the lod-'e colors, attractively arranged. The center of attraction was a large birthday cake which Wad been baked by Mrs. Dorphus Drum ami a number of the ladies. It was decorated with pink ieim:, borden d with green and was i entered with a large “80" in green. Miniature pink candles in green holders were also placed on the cake. Following Hie dinnet a short pro gram was presented with the dis trict president. Mrs. Howe, presenting an interesting and colorful history of the lodge, describing in detail the growth of the order. 1.. C. Helm, of the local I. O. O. F. lodge responded with a talk, stating that Hie Rebekah Lodge is the fir.-t imwn Women's Auxiliary. He exhibited a relic which was one of the first books printed on the history >f RebekaluOdd Fellowship.
