Mr. Zimmerman was a graduate of the Hartford township high school with the class of 1924. and was also a graduate of the Fort Wayne Bibld school. For the past two years he has been located at Detroit, as an appointed worker j for the Missionary church, and also i has been employed as a machinist in that city. A wedding supper was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Zimm man Wednesday evening following the wedding, complimentary to the newly weds. Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman will make their home in Detroit, Michigan. D. Y. B. CLASS ENJOYS PICNIC The members of the D. Y. B. class of the United Brethren Sun day school enjoyed a picnic last evening, which was held in the dining hall of the church, instead of the Legion Memorial Park, as had been planned. A short business meeting was held, in which Mrs. John Hill war chosen as the teacher of the class, and Rev. C. E. Sharrow was elected as the assistant teacher. Following the meeting, a potluck supper was served, and a social hour was enjoyed. The pro gram which had been planned for the out of door affair, did not take place last evening, in the church dining hall. TO HOLD JUNTO CLUB THURSDAY Mrs. Leah Cohen-Malay of Fort Wayne, representative of the Roycroft Shops of Aurora, New York who recently sponsored a Junto Club program in this city, will entertain with a dinner party* and Junto club at the Rice Hotel, Thursday evening at six-thirty o’clock. Mrs. Malay will repeat the lecture on The Life of Elizabeth Fry” by j Elbert Hubbard, which has been chosen by popular request. Guests will Include another group of clubwomen irom this city. Mr. Kerr is engaged as a basketball coach at the Geneva High School. Mrs. Kerr has been In < harge of the music department in the high school at Hartford City for the last several years. She is a graduate of Ball Teacher's Training College at Muncie and Is a member of the Tri Kappa sorority.
