The Scheimann bridge may be constructed this year, the county council having approved the issuing of bonds, not to exceed $30,000 for the building of the bridge. Bridges built this year and now open to traffic are: Adam Bentz, Union township, $1177; County farm bridge and retaining wall, Washington township. $2,397.50; Debolt repair job. Jefferson township, $625; Chilcoat bridge, Washington township, $1598.40. The contract price on the Moser bridge is $4,157.25. Work on die city fire engine station will he completed by September. it was stated.
