Haines for $3,800.00 Fire Eater Cools Off Marion, Ind., July 10 — (UP) — Bobby Gray, professional fire eater made the one unforgivable mistake of his kind —burned himself while putting on his act—and became one of th unemployed. Also Bobby was burning up over being turned down by an old flame, so he pijnned to extinquish the spark of life in a water filled stone quarry at Marion. He dropped a farewell note ami sweater on the bank, but as he poised on the brink before leaping, his hot plan cooied. He told officers, preparing to drag the quarry in an effort to find the body they thought to be submerged there, that failure to obtain employment and a desire to forget a girl motivated the proposed suicide. REPORT FILED ST COW TESTER Dan P. Stcury, Owner of High Herd For Month of June The June report of the Adams County Herd Improvement Association has just betm announced by Roy L. Price, tester for the association. Pastures which were geneially good throughout the county during the month had a tendency to Increase the milk flow which resulted in good averages for the month. The high herd for the month was owned' by Dan P. Steury. The herd, pure-bred Holsteins. averaged 41 pounds of butterfat for the month. Other high herds were: Ralph B.
