Statement to the Public by The Peoples Loan & Trust Co. 4 % To our customers, friends and people of the community: The Officers and Directors of the Peoples Loan & Trust Co. make the following Statement I A New Bank with Adequate Banking Facilities Assured within a very short time At a meeting of the Board of Directors and a group of business and professional men. it was decided to organize a new r bank of $50,000 or more capital stock all paid in, with every dollar of deposits insured against loss of any kind, guaranteeing positive safety to every depositor. This Plan will not only give the community the needed banking connection, but makes possible the rapid liquidation of the old bank, and more rapidly release the funds of the old institution to the depositors, which will be done dollar for dollar without loss to a single depositor. After a survey of the community sentiment, we feel assured that you will approve of this plan, fully realizing that the first consideration of this bank has always been one of service to the community as well as safety to its depositors. We also take this opportunity to thank those who have displayed their confidence in this institution, and have been patient, loyal and courteous in these trying times.
