LETS SUCK TOGETHER Daily Democrat—Cne year ago I moved to Decatur after I had been assured that the city was a good trading center witli good school and churches. Since moving here I find I was not misinformed. Many have asked me if I like Decatur and can only say that I liked the city well enough to invest in one of the good homes and now Mr. Ashbaucher and 1 have purchased another of the good residences. I expect to be loyal to the city and her institutions. During the recent bank difficulties 1 had a deposit in each bank in Decatur, no* a lot, but not a dollar was drawn out during the crisis. We must all lull together. Decatur will lie bigger and better as the good citizens will now take inventory and find themselves. Lets not be pessimistic but optimistic. J. U. MAYNARD

The festival coincided with the rellglotiH holiday of Corpus Christi, uml the culminating point of the celebration was the procession o.' the Blessed Sacrament over the carpet of flowers of every color to the cathedral. The floral carpet was laid with great care and taste In the Via Liein, a street some 45 feet wide, and for days the children of Qenzano have been gathering flowers of every kind in the gardens ami woods near this little town In the Alban hills. The boys and girls brought flowers, ferns and leaves of laurel and other shrubs in baskets and carried out the work of floral carpeting tin der the supervision of the artist of the ceremony who chalked designs on the road to be filled in with blooms. Traffic in Main Street, Genzunno,

Only the priest carrying the Blessed Sacrument in today's procession is allowed to puss over the carpet of flowers. The procession passed along tin? flowery way adorned with gay and colored patterns.
