Pleasant Marion Keoble, 84-year-ald veteran of the Civil War, journeyed the distance of eight miles to Rockford, Tenn., to keep a promise made 65 years ago with Civil War buddies, ail of whom are now dead. When the Sultana, prison ship, sank near Memphis in the Mississippi River, April 21, ISCS, the Tennessee Federal soldiers who were saved in the disaster, which cost 1,828 lives, decided to hold an annual reunion.
