The Thirties, overflowing with unsold secrets, sing out promises ot peace; of health and wealth and beauty. The mood of our nation, from sea to sea, echoes a justified optimism. Doors are closed to the chronic malcontents. Extensive though our territories, we have room only for those who hope, and those who strive to fulfill their hopes. If there must be a struggle, let’s call it a game and play it like sportsmen. If there must be obstacles, let’s rejoice in our power to vault them. hands, rich minds. It remains for us but to will it, and Prosperity will shower us with her favors. We are just beginning to tap our mines, forests, fields and waters. Ag knltuie is regaining its stability. Tee fanner, long discouraged, has himself expressed a new confidence. The large industrial corporations are following a program of expansion. The railroads and the banks are'notably sound. Methods of production and distribution are constantly improving. Standards of living are being constantly raised. There are the facts! They represent conditions which we shall mould into e, future more g o ions than our most glo ions past. Our assured prosperity will be a stepping-stone to the New World paradise of which our ancestors dreamed.
