There is no draggy, tuffy feeling. The warm air Z tem is the only system which provides this very essential re-circu-luting humidified air. Perhaps a little explanation of tho recirculating feature of the warm air system Is in order. You have noticed in a house heated by warm air that the warm air is driven up through the registers with considerable force. This comes about through the application of the natural law that cold air goes down and sends- warm air up. The cold air is drawn off the floors through a cold air duct. This cold air enters the furnace and is heated When it is heated it becomes lighter and immediately rises through the warm air passages into the rooms. As it cools it

it Is again drawn down, freshened and heated and sent up again. J It can readily be seen that this i constant drawing off of the cooled i air and circulation of the warm air is responsible for the absence of I cold floors in homes heated by the warm air system. Forced Air System For large homes, or buildings of unusual design, the circulation of the warm air system is stimulated , by the use of an electrically oper- , ated fan in the cold air Intake of the heater. This is called a forced air system. While such a systern is essential in certain types of buildings, it may also be used in any installation, whether large or small, where the highest possible degree of heating efficiency is desired. An additional advantage of the forced air system is that it provides a circulation of air in the house in summer. Requires Little Attention Next in importance to the advantages of comfort and health of the warm air system is its extreme simplicity. The warm air system, properly installed, requires only a few minutes attention each day. There are no gauges or boilers to watch—no pipes to freeze—nothing to worry about. Merely build the right kind of a fire and the system operates itself If you want to go away and leave ■ the house unoccupied in cold weather yon have only to let the i tire go out. On returning you can - build a tire and have immediate heat, with all rooms up to temperature in less than an hour, even though it be zero outside. In weather that is only moderately cold, and a continuous fire is unnecessary, a light fire morning and evening will heat the house comfortably with maximum economy. —o TRUCKS havf: PLACE OF TWOWHEELED CART (CONTINUED FROM PAGE ONE) demonstrate them to lite public. Mr. Ashbaucher now employs six people in bis organization, namely Miss Ruth Hammond, who has charge of the office, William C. Huffman. Doe Dierkes, Aud Moser, Ralph Meyers and James Kocher. Jr. Enlarging his l> usiness each year, Mr. Ashbaucher has added several lines to the tin work. He is dealer for the Majestic furnace and all its lines, dealer for the Eternit asbestos shingles, she Carey roofing products, Fosco steel ceiling products, Follansbee forge roofing products, etc.
SHINGLE FIRE I LOSSES GREAT I ■■ • Fire-Proof Shingles Protect Home and Add Beauty to House — Fire from sparks on roofs dur- ’ ing sixty months exhibited a total ’ loss amounting to $56,666,652, or ’ not far from a million dollars a month. So writes the National Board of Fire Underwriters. Tho everpresent menace of inflammable roofing Is vividly pictured by these alarming figures. Losses of over fifty-six million dollars—a record proving that unless you choose your rooting carefully you are gambling with fire. To remove this fire menace--to ’ protect your home against the i ever present danger of wind-carried , embers —roof with Eternit Asbes- . tos Shingles. Then you are sate. , Sparkis may rain down. But on > Eternit Shingles they will do no . harm. I Eternit Asbestos Shingles are , fire-proof because they are all mineral —made entirely from as- , bestos fiber combined with PortI laud cement by our special lamin- , ated process. They can no more burn than can stone itself. Eternlts are practically imperishable and actually grow stronger as they age and harden on tho 1 roof. They are all-climato shin--1 gles, withstanding the intense heat of the summer sun without warp- ’ ing or cracking. Also proof 1 against winter’s ice and snow. Year after year of repair-free roofing satisfaction. Eternlts eliminate expense for upkeep and repairs. No decay, for the asbestos and cement are mineral, and allmineral composition makes Eter--1 nits proof against time and weather. ' Eternit Asbestos Shingles are not made by the casting or moldt ing process. They are laminated , built up. Layer upon layer of tough clinging asbestos fiber. Giving greater strength by reinforcing tile cement. Matted into place. ’ Twisted and interwoven. Com- ■ pressed, under enormous hydraulic pressure, into jeolid, rugged, iin--1 pervious shingles. Slabs of rock. I Asbestos Shingles can be applied > on any pitched roof of ordinary ) design. No special reinforcing is i necessary. And they are ideal for i re-roofing—going on right over i yor old wood or asphalt shingles. Eternlts Jake low rates of Insurance. They are approved and given highest ratings by the Underwriters' Laboratories, inc., Division of the National Board of Fire Underwriters. How they add to the beauty of your home! Autumn Brown —a color found only in Eternit—makes a roof that is rich, sparkling, attractive. A new Copper Green —exclusixely Eternit —adds a brilliance of color to any home. Quarry Blue, and Indian Red and natural Colonial Gray—all exceedingly beautiful. 0 - TIN SHOP NOW OCCUPIES TWOSTORY BUILDING (CONTINUED FROM PAGE ONE) the width of the building.
