EDITORIAL COLUMN A. R. ASHBAUCHER BELIEVES IN GIVING SERVICE TO ALL: — A. R. "Frltk" Ashbaucher. does not stop with being a busy man in his own business, but gives of his time and service In other lines. ] For eight years he has been a member of the city council and has served on several of the most important committees, being chairman of the water works committee and of the committee on pub lie safety. He is also a director of the Peoples Loan and Trust company of this city and is one of the active members of the Zion Re formed church. While he had his "hands full”, doing the bossing of the new building and tending to business.in the meantime, he served as chairman of the dedication committee of the Reformed church, when the later congregation installed and dedicated a beautiful new pipe organ. He is alap a member of the Decatur Rotary club, the Knights of Pythias and an active civic wort er. In realising the dream of yeni-s in the completion of his new I building, he has reached that goal I which service and willingness and determination brings. BETTER DISPLAY OF PRODUCTS (CONTINUED FROM PAGE ONE) . years been one of he leading Majestic. furnace dealers and each year he installs between 40 and 50 new Majestic furnaces. In his new show room all the Majestic products, furnaces, underground garbage cans, flower boxes and the like, together with samples of steel ceiling, asbestos shingles and tinner’s products are displayed there. SEV ERAL TYPES OF FURNACES (CONTINUED FROM PAGE ONE) have the capacity of the finer Majesties. it nevertheless is a quality furnace in its class. We will venture to sey that it could be sold at a much higher price and still be a real value. It retains many of the quality features of the better Majesties but is not built so heavily. It has full cast front with extfa large casing, heavy corrugated fire bowls, covered joints, one-piece radiator and ash pit, and other equally important quality points. The Special Majestic is a high grade furnace in its class. The Boiler Plate Majestic Majestic also offers another type of furnace —distinct from the othernumbers in the Majestic line —an ‘ all-steel furnace. We call this the Boiler Plate Majestic Warm Air Furnace. This Boiler Plate‘Majestic lias the quality of providing instant heat from a very small fire —« feature that has made it popular with a great many people. As the name implies the Boiler Plate Majestic is built of heavy steel boiler plate of the same quality that is used in the construction of power boilers. _ The shell is practically in one piece and is gas-proof and smoke-proof. Long smoke and gas travel, extra large humidifier, large feed door, "carburetor’’ to release warm oxygen into the fire, and a high wall of fire brick at the back of the furnace, are other noteworthy features. In general construction, in its details and in the satisfaction it gives, the Boiler Plate Majestic is the equal of any furnace of its type regardless of price. Heavy Duty Down-Draft if it so happens that your building requires an extra large heating plant, the Heavy Duty Majestic is the furnace you will want. The Heavy Duty is a true Down Draft like the Master, but built even larger and heavier for still greater capacity. Instead of a single down-draft radiator, the Heavy Duty has a double one. This gives extremely long smoke travel and consequent greater radiation. The combustion chamber is immense—more than tour feet long, two feet wide, and high above the firing line. It permits firing in such a manner that attention is only occasionally required. Locomotive type grates make for easy shaking and the large ash pit accommodates a great bulk of ashes. Investigate What Majestic Offers We believe we have outlined clearly the advantages of the Warm Air Heating System. We believe it to be the best system, and we are confident that If yon weigh its advantages carefully you will choose war air heating for your home. We hope that you will choose a Majestic Warm Air Heating System. There are other good furnaces, of course, but we are absolutely honest in our. belief that Majestic offers you greater satisfaction and greater value. If you have the opportunity, speak to some friend who owns a Majestic. Get his views. And any Majestic dealer will gladly show you the various types of Majestic Furnaces and explain their many quality features in detail. Choose a Majestic Warm Air Heating System installed by the Standard Code, and stop up the heat leaks in your home—then you will be assured of healthful com fori every winter.
