day Sunday and practically every route out of the local post office was covered. M ill Is accumulating in the Decatur post office and the severe winter weather is making it hard tot carriers to gel the mail out to the patrons. The entire crew, however, is working overtime. A fresh snow fell Sunday afternoon and last night and added a bout three inches to the already heavy snow. The snowfall, however is not regarded as sufficient to hamper travel. Because of the severe weather of
the last few days, many people in the rural districts have been unable to get to Decatur to shop and local merchant* are preparing for heavy trading tonight and all dty tomorrow. It was unounced today that stoies would remain open as late Chiistmas eve as was necessary to accomodate all traders.
