BEARKATZ WIN FROM HOAGLAND Monroe high school Bearkatz i swamped Hoagland high school ’tellers at Hongland Saturday night 3FI-23. The score does not indicate Hie iLfference between the two quintete as Coach Piney Bryan substituted freely after the Bearkatz took a commanding lead early In the game. The Adams county netters took an early lead and continued to pile up more points. At half time the Btyanmen were leading 2112. In the second stanza Coach Bryan chose to try out his reserve material. and the substitutes managed to hold the Hoagland netters in fair style. in the last few minutes Coach Bryan returned his regulars to the fray and Monroe again started piling up points. WHIPPETS WIN FROM GENEVA Kirkland Whippets opened their net season with it landslide win from Geneva Boosters at Kirkland gymnasium Saturday night. The Whippets led throughout the game' and piled in 18 field goals -while their opponents were hitting the net for 5 fielders.
