That the Adams county grand jury , , will complete its work by the end of shit week ..ppeared doubtful today and indications are the jury will not be ready to inspect the jail and county infirmary and submit'its final report , for next week some lime. Several Decatur people were called before the jurors today and another group of Geneva citlxens appeared this afternoon. It is not thought that the Geneva group called today, was called to testify in the alleged ‘•‘poison" liquor incident at Geneva, but that an entire ly new case is being probed. It was also indicated that more witnesses were yet to be called in various investigations and that the work would not be finished for several days. Former Senate Chaplain Guilty Os Contributing — r Los Angeles, Nov. 26. — (U.R) — Dr. Bradfora Union Liberal church of Pasadena and former chaplain of the United States senate was confined to the psychopathic ward today after he pleaded guilty to a statutory attack on a 16-year-old boy. , Judge Robert Scott ordered the minister placed under observation under testimony introduced indicating the defendant had suffered a nervous breakdown. In entering his plea of guilty. Dr. Leavitt said he could not account for his actions. Attorneys for the pastor said they would file a motion for probation.
