The will, written October 10, 1923 appoints Hubert Zerkle evecutor. it specifies that first, all just debts and funeral expenses be paid; that one third of the remaining estate be given to a brother John Troutner; that one-third be given to William L. and Cora E. Troutner, children of a deceased brother, Fred, share and -hare alike; that H'tbert, Jr.. Justine, Wayne and Maigaret Zerkle receive one-sixth, share and share alike and that Clifford and Ella Troutner receive one-sixth, share and share alike. A codicil to the will was written May 28, 1925 setting asido the bequest to William L. and Cora E. Troutner and giving to William L., Cora E., and Frank Troutner one-third of the surplus estate as follows: onehalf to William L. Troutner and onehalf to Cora E., and Frank Troutner, share and share alike. The codicil further sets aside the bequest to Hubert, Jr., Margaret, Justine and Wayne Zerkle and gives onesixth of the surplus estate to Mary G. Zerkle and Hubert Zerkle, her husband. It also sets aside the bequest to Clifford and Ella Troutner and gives to Clifford and Ella Troutner and Margaret Zerkle one sixth of the surplus estate as follows: To Clifford and Ella Troutner, one-half of the one-sixth. Share and share alike and to Margaret Zerkle, one-half of the one-sixth. Hubert Zerkle qualified as executor by filing bond in the sum of $40,009. The estate was estimated to be worth about $20,000. November 4, 1929, will be the last day to pay your fall installment of taxes The county treasurer’s office will be open from 8 a. m. to 4 p. m. during the tax paying season. All taxes not paid by that time will become delinquent and a 10% penalty will be added. Do not put off paying taxes as they must be paid and the law points out the duty of the county treasurer.
