KANSASCITY IS FAVORITE Meuhlebach Field, Kansas City, Oct. 3.—(U.R) With Kansas City holding 5 to 1 odds, the local Blues and the Rochester Bed wings met here today in the second game of the Little World series. Kansas City triumphed In a tight 10-lnning game yesterday, 4 to 3, topping an afternoon of sensational fielding. Shortstop Knothe of the Kansas City team was the day’s hero when, on a double by Kuhel, he han in for the winning counter. Bell, veteran pitcher of the International league and once a ranking moundsman for the St. Louis Cardinals, pitched the opener for the Redwings, striking out two, walking two and balking once. Sheehan, no youngster in American association baseball, pitched for the home crew, striking out three, and walking five. Rochester contributed Miost of the heavy hitting, Watkins, Torporcer and Brown hitting two baggers and Collins smashing out a three-bagger.
