Seven games of Bridge furnished diversion throughout the evening and prizes for high score were awarded to Mr. and Mrs. Felix Graber. Consolation prizes were presented to Mrs. Dick McConnell and Fred McConnell. Mr. and Mrs. Brice Butler were guests of the dub and received a lovely guest prize. The appointments and tallies were carried out in Spring effect. ENJOYS PLEASANT BIRTHDAY SURJRISE A very pleasant olrthday surprise was given William Mitchell last Sunday at his home In Monroe, when his children all came to bls home, with well-filled baskets. At the noon hour, a most delicious dinner was served. In cafeteria style, and during the afternoon a lunch of ice-cream and cake was enjoyed. Those present nt the surprise party were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mitchel, son Lester and daughter Lois, Gene, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mitchel and daughter Esther Pauline, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mitchel, Mr. and Mis. Harvey Rupert and daughter Helen Maxine. Mr. and Mrs. William Mitchel, sons Kenneth ami Russel, and daughter Helen. Afternoon and evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Rice, and Ruby Rupert. A most enjoyable time was had.
