Designed especially to apI peal to stull is a new feature'in itnI ported collections of beach wear; namely, the separate wrapover jersey I skirt planned to be worn with one ! piece bathing suits and to lie removI ed easily for active swimming, and to form a variation from pajamas or the youthful sailor trousers*. From the ipoint of view of novelty, it is suggested that shops advocate them as an additional feature of the bathing wardrobe for the woman who already has pajamas, or as a substitute for these for the woman who would not be persuaded to adopt the pajamas. . The skirts are elaborate. One version is a wrapover with narrow waistband and a decided drape, giving the uneven hemline. Another has groups of pleats at the front, and a third has flares at each side with lacings in contrasting color. COMPLETE CITY TIC KET IS FILED BY BOTH PARTIES ICONTtNUED FROM PAGE OKE) Mrs 1 . Luella Ellsworth, who is serving her first term as city treasurer, is opposed by Mrs. Ada L. Martin. The Republican candidates for city clerk and treasurer are also women. The declarations of the Republican candidates were filed by Ralph Yager, Republican city chairman. Mr. Yager also filed as a candidate for councilman from tlie First ward. It is not known if he will resign as city chairman or withdraw from the race in favor of someone else. Due to t|he fact that there are only two contests, very little interest has been shown in the coming primary. A small vote is predicted and will be cast, unless the women candidates are able to get the voters to the poll. There are no contests on the Republican ticket and naturally the Republican vote will be small. Signatures to the declarations of the Republican candidates were not, obtained until late Saturday afternoon and. in several cases, it was stated, the candidates were dratted for places on the ticket. On the Democratic ticket, only one new' candidate for councilman is askin for nomination. The new candidate is George M.
