Thompson Takes I’osition In Sturgis, Mich. Harry W. Thompson, well-known Decatur citizen, today announced that he lias accepted a position as general manager of the David Wall and Son company, wholesale meat packers and distributors, of Sturgis, Michigan. Mr. Thompson will begin his work at Sturgis next Monday. He expects to move his family to Sturgis in the near future. Mr. Thompson came here several years ago from Ligonier, to become pastor of the Christian church in this city. After making an enviable record as pastor of the local church, he retired from the ministry more than a year ago, due to impaired health. Since then, he has been regaining his health doing radio repair work, his hobby being radio. The Wall company is a fast growing concern. U. B. Section V The building inspector or fire chief shall have power to condemn and have removed any wood shingle roof that in his opinion is in such a deteriorated condition as to be excessively inflammable. Section VI Within twelve (12) years from the date of the approval of this Ordinance any and all roofs covered with wood shingles shall be replaced with roof coverings which comply with this Ordinance. Section VII Any person, persons, firms, companies or corporations who shall violate any requirement of (his Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and-shall upon conviction thereof he fined in any sum not exceeding SIOO|OH Dollars for each offense, anti any roof or dormer window which is built in violation of this Ordinance shall be immediately demolished or rebuilt. It shall be the duty of tire building inspector, or fire chief to enforce this Ordinance. Section VIII All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
